Leon was born in Nicaragua between 1971-1980 and now lives in residence not given. Leon's citizenship is of not available and will tell people that he is from not given. Politically Leon considers himself Apolitical, though at times considers such labels as simplistic.
In commenting about Nicaragua, Leon wrote the following:

perpetually in progress....This is to those who reside outside of Nicaragua: Would you consider returning permanently? As for myself...I would love too, but as it stands, i feel detached from my birthcountry...not to mention i also feel detached from Canada....so.........
