Yoyita was born in Nicaragua between 1941-1960 and now lives in residence not given. Yoyita's citizenship is of Nicaragua and will tell people that she is from not given. Politically Yoyita considers herself Apolitical, though at times considers such labels as simplistic.
In commenting about Nicaragua, Yoyita wrote the following:
